What to Expect

The ZERONA treatment is non-invasive and completely painless. There should be no heat or sensation while being treated with the laser and there is NO anesthesia, gels, creams, numbing agents or needles required. During treatment, your doctor, clinician or their assistant will position and point the laser scanner at the problem areas of the body. Your provider will step out for 20 minutes while the front of your body is treated. When they return, they will ask you to flip over while they reset the laser. They will then repeat the treatment process on the backside of your body for an additional 20 minutes.

After your treatment is over, you can resume your normal activities immediately with absolutely no downtime, pain, swelling or discomfort of any kind. You should expect to schedule 4-6 visits with your doctor over the course of two weeks. It is important that you NOT miss an appointment. You should be committed to the recommended treatment plan which includes 6 treatments, every other day for 40 minutes. You should not to exceed 72 hours between treatments. If more than 72 hours passes between appointments, some of the fat may be reabsorbed by the fat cells.
