Brow Lift
What to expect after surgery? (Post-Op)
After your Brow Lift, your head may be wrapped and Forehead taped to reduce any swelling and bruising. It is important to follow your doctor’s post-operative instructions to ensure proper healing after a Brow or "Forehead" Lift. Doing so will also help you get the best aesthetic results from a Brow Lift.
Recovery
It usually takes about five to ten days following a Brow Lift for initial wound healing to finish. After initial wound healing, the sutures or clips used in a Brow or "Forehead" Lift may be removed by the doctor and staff.
There may be some initial bruising, but cosmetics do a great job camouflaging any bruising. Most brusing will subside within three to four weeks. Several weeks after your Brow Lift, healing will continue and swelling will go down. Incision lines from a Brow or "Forehead" Lift will improve and fade as the months go by.
The incision technique for a Brow Lift or "Forehead" Lift is meant to be hidden by the hair.
