The Dermatology Center of Raleigh was founded by Dr. Carol A. Trakimas, a board certified Dermatologist and medical expert on skin, hair, and nail diseases. Dr. Trakimas is a highly skilled general and cosmetic dermatologist and laser surgeon who has been in private practice for over 10 years.

For our aesthetic patients, we offer consultations using the Visia® imaging and complexion analysis system.
This would allow you and the Dr to have a in-depth discussion of your situation/desires, informing you of the possible treatment options that you have, and would be the basis of forming a treatment plan. We offer treatments ranging from Rx and other topical agents personally selected by Dr. Trakimas, injectables like Botox®. Restylane®, and Juvederm®. as well as the most recent laser and light based treatments for treating skin laxity, pigmentation, and texture issue as well as hair removal for all skin types.
